Le Champion SL – at barely over 15 lbs* the ‘LSL’ is the lightest bike I know of with a list under $3000 We have sold tons of this bike – please see the stellar reviews on RBR. Note that both the brakes and wheels are upgraded in the current model. Frame is 2.7 lb U6 aluminum – Fork is Full Carbon 400grams. Wheelset has MSRP of $899 [upgraded in 2005] Cane Creek brakes [upgraded in 2006] FSA carbon SL-K crank, Ritchey WCS cockpit, Ultegra 20-speed shifters and derailleurs. FANTOM ELITE – hardtail XC/All Mountain guys love this bike. Lots of great feedback on this Kinesis frame used on several Moto models. Match with Rock Shox Revelation with lock-out & barmounted poploc, WTB handbuilt wheels, some XTR/XT/LX, Avid Discs, Ritchey this & that – boom – great bike in a shop for $1600 or so.
