getting a second mortgage on the farm. The Diamond Lite 1
features a rebound-adjustable coil spring shock and SunTour
Magnesium EXR fork for economy. Like the Diamond Lite 2, the
frame is made with 7005 butted aluminum tubing, accepts the
Twin Technology linkage, is disc brake-ready and the rear
suspension pivots on sealed bearings. That's quite a package
for a bike with a three-digit price tag.
This is an easy bike to add to your collection if you already
own a hard tail. But if you're a first-time buyer, you're
probably weighing the pros and cons of dual versus front
suspension. The best way to make up your mind is to put this
catalog down and go straight to your friendly neighborhood
Fuji dealer for a test ride. Talk is talk, but a test ride is
real data. Unfortunately, you probably won't be able to make a
thorough off-road comparison. But the performance and handling
differences, even in the store parking lot, should be great
enough to help you get off the fence.
Or stay there. It's a great excuse for buying another bike
later.
